Session description:

Mental health issues are increasing worldwide affecting millions of people. The increased need for these types of services is evident in the United States as well.  In particular, universities are seeing a rising number of students of all backgrounds seeking out mental health services in their student health clinics. If left untreated, these disorders risk causing lifelong problems. Mental health disorders may interfere with future academics, self esteem and future earning potential.  Please join us to learn more about mental health issues and today’s college student.

Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to attend all UNI-sponsored events.  If a reasonable accommodation is needed to participate in this program, please contact Shelley Matthews at (273-7224 or email  at least one week prior to the event.
