Prospective students and their families get more than a peek at Panther Peek visit days hosted by Admissions. Nine events are scheduled through November 18. The single-day visits include a campus tour, an optional financial aid session, introductions to majors and careers, and lunch on campus. October 24 is dedicated to introducing the College of Business and October 31 is dedicated to introducing the College of Humanities, Arts and Sciences.
Jenny Connolly, Admissions Assistant Director/Outreach, coordinates Panther Peek days. She is assisted by grad students, the rest of the Admissions staff and other members of the campus community.
"We usually have around 150 people at most Panther Peek visit days," Jenny said. "That can bump up to 400 when UNI is hosting highschool football playoffs at the UNI Dome. Panther Peek visit days are a great way for prospective students to get an impression of campus and interact with faculty and staff," Jenny said. "It is a team effort!"
