NOH8 (No Hate) Campaign is a photographic silent protest which resulted from the Proposition 8 passed in California amending the state Constitution ban same-sex marriage. Photos feature subjects with duct tape over their mouths symbolizing their voices being silenced. The University of Northern Iowa, UNI Proud, ONE Iowa, UNI Feminist Action League, and the Northern Iowa Democrats are joining together to provide a free NOH8 photo shoot at UNI. The photo shoot is set for December 6th from 8:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. in the Maucker Union Ballrooms.
The Division of Student Affairs annually recognizes exemplary performance of its staff with the Sue Follon Exemplary Service Award. The award honors division employees who are committed to quality and excellence and whose efforts and achievements exceed expectations.
