Paula KnudsonWelcome to the Division of Student Affairs at UNI!  We provide connections and resources for students to be successful on their educational journey.  We aspire to develop partnerships that build a welcoming, equitable and engaging environment, and connect in-the-classroom learning with out-of-classroom opportunities.  By collaborating with others across the campus community, we challenge students to grow to their full potential.  Join us on this journey as we contribute to the development of students to become better leaders of today and better citizens of tomorrow.

UNI Aquatics featured in Campus Rec Magazine

Our very own aquatic center was recently featured in a story highlighting certification courses as well as youth programs. Campus Rec Magazine provides solution-based resources to university recreation professionals. The magazine applauded our staff and student workers who are consistently providing excellent courses to members of our local and surrounding communities in their life guard training, CPR, first aid, and various other youth programs.

Student Fee Application Materials Now Available

Application materials for requesting funding through the Student Activities Fee and Student Services Fee for fiscal year 2018 are now available. The Student Services Fee and Student Activities Fee are mandatory fees charged to all students to provide access to a variety of student activities and services. The Student Fee Committee is charged with reviewing all requests and recommending funding allocations. There are three documents which must be submitted for each funding request: the Funding Request, the Executive Summary and the Revenue and Expense Report.

Mulder, Haislet recognized

Wendy Mulder, Clerk III in the Office of the Registrar, was recently awarded the Upper MidwestAssociation of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers "Staff Support Award," which recognizes the outstanding contribution of support staff to their institution and the Association. Congratulations, Wendy! Also, join me in congratulating Shawna Haislet on her new credential as a Certified Sexual Health Educator. Shawna put a considerable amount of work into achieving this goal over the past year. Way to go, Shawna!

Students recognized for outstanding service and leadership at the 2015 Student Leadership Awards Ceremony

The 2015 Student Leadership Awards Ceremony was held on April 21 in the Maucker Union Ballroom. The reception recognized student leaders from across campus through the Drake Martin Gold Star Awards, the Emerging Leader of the Year Award, Student Organization of the Year Award, and Student Organization Program of Distinction Awards, Additionally, the Dean of Students recognized various students with Dean of Students Citations. The Office of the Dean of Students also recognized graduation senior for their outstanding service and leadership.
