Vice President for Student Affairs
Congratulations to Dr. Kristi Marchesani, Assistant Director 0f Admissions for International Relations, and Heather Place, Coordinator of the LGBT* Center, for receiving 2015 Diversity Matters Awards. Thanks for the commitment and service that resulted in your being recognized.
The Student Services Fee Committee has been renamed the Student Fee Committee. The name change is a result of aligning UNI’s fees more closely with the University of Iowa and Iowa State University fee structures in FY16. Identified activities and services will be separated into the Student Activities Fee and the Student Services Fee to provide better clarity to students. The new Student Activities Fee will support student activities, student government and student organizations.
Nominations are now being accepted for the Sue Follon Exemplary Service Award. This prestigious award honors staff in the Division of Student Affairs who are committed to quality and excellence and whose efforts and achievements exceed expectations. Please nominate staff who continually work to carry out the mission of Student Affairs by helping students succeed.
